Finding us: The Spread Eagle is situated in the "South Downs National Park" and East Hampshires Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 1/4 mile off the A3(M) Portsmouth to London road about 20 miles form both Portsmouth and Guildford. From London/Guildford : Continue south on the A3(M) until you reach the roundabout, Take the first left at the roundabout towards Liss. The spread eagle is found on the right had side just as a left hand bend approaches From Portsmouth: Continue northwards on the A3(M), past Petersfield, until the roundabout is reached. Take the 3rd exit towards Liss. Continue for 1/4 of a mile to find the Spread Eagle on the right. From Farnham (A325): A new bypass will bring traffic to the A3(M) north of the roundabout. Proceed over the bridge, to join southbound traffic and the A3(M). The roundabout is approx 1 mile from here - continue as for London/Guildford. From Alton/Selbourne: The B3006 brings you directly to the roundabout. Continue across the Roundabout (second exit), to find the Spread Eagle about 1/4 mile on the right.
